Taking Inventory and Future Plans
Its been sometime since I’ve posted here, which I suppose at the end of the day is a good thing, as I’ve been occupied with a new job, new hobbies and a new city. In addition to all of these life events, I’ve begun working on a number of new projects, among which has been to retool and refactor my website and the infrastructure around it. How I Manage My Dotfiles
For awhile now I’ve been using about 3 machines every day for school, work and leisure computing. This has led me down the path of diverging configurations and left me wanting a simple and extensible way for managing my dotfiles across these machines. There are many tools out there that manage dotfiles, and many different ways to get the job done, be it symlink farmers, or repositories, or a hybrid solutions.
